It began with a simple frustration. Sanjay Yadav, working as an Optical Networking Engineer, couldn't find practical resources that bridged the gap between textbook theory and real-world implementation. So he started taking notes—personal insights from actual projects, real troubleshooting scenarios, practical automation scripts.
The Aha Moment
When colleagues started asking for copies of those notes, Sanjay realized something profound: engineers don't need more theory—they need practical wisdom from someone who's been in the trenches.
What started as a personal blog on March 29, 2011, evolved into something bigger. MapYourTech became the resource Sanjay wished had existed when he was starting out—a place where theory meets practice, where concepts become implementations, where engineers help engineers.
